Monsta X made their debut entrance into the entertainment scene on 14th May, 2015 with their first Extended Playlist titled Trespass. It is one of the most famous boy groups made of a total of 6 members in South Korea. The group originally started with a team of seven members but later, Wonho left.
It was formed by Starship Entertainment through the survival show No.Mercy. The names of the group members are Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwoon, Joohoney, I.M, and Wonho (left in October 2019).
The group name has two different meanings; ‘monsters conquering the Kpop scene’ and the other is ‘My Star’. The Mon in the word means ‘My’, ‘Star’ is for ‘Star’ and the letter X symbolises an unknown existence. Monbebe, meaning ‘my baby’ is the official fandom name of the group.

History
Somewhere in March 2017, the team released their first studio album and final part of The Clan series, The Clan Pt. 2.5: The Final Chapter, which has their 3rd and 4th Extended Playlist, The Clan Pt. 1 Lost and The Clan Pt. 2 Guilty, which was both released in the year 2016.
They signed a deal with Mercury Tokyo and debuted with their hit single Hero in Japan in May 2018. On 22nd October, 2018, they released Take.1 Are you there? Their album, Take.2 : We are here was also released on 18th February, 2019.

I.M, originally known as Im Chang-Kyun is the maknae of the goup. He was born on 26th January, 1996. I.M currently plays a vital role in the group as their lead rapper and sub vocalist. He stands at a height of about 5 feet and 9 inches tall approximately.

The famous Korean group, Monsta X’s leader is called Shownu originally known as Son Hyun-woo. He was born in Seoul, South Korea on 18th June, 1992. He is the group’s dancer and singer.
