Five of Fleur East's Best Tracks

Fleur East is one of the first 10 celebrities to head Down Under and pull on the I’m A Celebrity kit for 2018. Everyone remembers her from The X Factor 2014, where she made it to the final to be beaten by Ben Haenow, but you may not be too familiar with her music that followed. CelebMix dives into five of Fleur East’s best tracks to date!

5. ‘Paris’

Following her X Factor success, Fleur East put out her incredibly underrated debut album Love, Sax and Flashbacks. One of the tracks on that record is ‘Paris’, a funky love story set in the French capital.

4. ‘Gold Watch’

One track that is Fleur East down to a tee is ‘Gold Watch’. A cross between Bruno Mars’ ‘Uptown Funk’ and Fleur’s very own ‘Sax’ (we’ll get to those in a minute), ‘Gold Watch’ is a feel-good brass-filled effort.

3. ‘Turn It Up’

Believe it or not, Fleur was already recording before The X Factor. In 2012 she leant her vocals to DJ Fresh’s heavy EDM track, ‘Turn It Up’. East also toured with the DJ, playing the likes of T4 On the Beach, V Festival and the iTunes Festival.

2. ‘Uptown Funk’

Fleur East’s cover of Bruno Mars’ ‘Uptown Funk’ played a huge part in getting her to The X Factor final, a genius choice by mentor Simon Cowell. East’s live performance of the track saw her pull out all the stops to wow the public and hit Number 1 in the charts. It also features on Love, Sax and Flashbacks.

1. ‘Sax’

With over one hundred million Spotify streams alone and a further 68 million on YouTube, ‘Sax’ is Fleur’s most successful single to date. The track hit Number 3 in the UK Charts and is still a club anthem today.
